R. Ram Mohan is a seasoned finance and management professional with over four decades of industry experience across multinational corporations, large Indian business groups, and the infrastructure sector. Currently he is into Consultancy, specializing in corporate finance advisory, restructuring, strategic planning, governance, and investment structuring. He also advises on family business continuity and succession planning. In addition to consulting, he contributes to academia as a visiting faculty member teaching Financial Management to MBA students.
Experience
Ram Mohan has more than 45 years of professional experience in diverse leadership and strategic roles. He spent over two decades with the GMR Group, where he rose to the position of Group President and played a key role in developing major infrastructure projects, including the establishment of a 220 MW barge-mounted power plant. Prior to this, he worked with several reputed organizations such as Unilever Group, RPG Group, TNT Express, Alcatel Business Systems, and United India Insurance. He has also served on the boards of several companies and currently serves as an Independent Director in an infrastructure sector company and is also the Chairman of its Audit Committee.
